I love it that I get to meet new people every day at Storiebook Cafe, and it's just an added bonus when some of those new people just happen to be really great musicians and end up playing here!

Glen Rose author, Suzy Foster, will be hopping into Storiebook Cafe on August 10, with her friend Solomun Bunny.

 Phil Hamilton and the BackRoad Drifters are going to help put Glen Rose on the Texas Country Music Scene map on Friday, September 25, and Saturday, October 9, when they perform live at Storiebook Cafe!

They don't stay long - but we will continue to have them on order!

Dublin musicician, best known as the Skinny Cowboy, will be ridin' into town on Saturday, August 1st, to perform at Storiebook Cafe from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

As the country joins together to celebreate Independence Day on the Fourth of July, The family of Terence Sumner Kirk, USMC,  shares a true story of heroism, privation and a will to survive against the greatest odds, with signed copies of his book, The Secret Camera- A Marines' Story: 4 Years as a Japanese P.O.W at Storiebook Cafe.
A recently released documentary DVD will also be available, with actual photos and documentation of life in a prison camp.

Seth Merritt heard Storiebook Cafe was the place to be, if you wanted to be seen in Glen Rose! He was right - and now we will all be able to see just who he is when he performs live in the Courtyard on Saturday, July 18, beginning at 7 p.m.

Husband/wife team of Sabine Renz and Martin Koppy will be sharing and signing their new books, "Stanley and the little Chevi go home to Texas" and "Mendozas Fleet," from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 18.

Royalty and real Stars spotted at Storiebook Cafe!

Wow! What a great birthday surprise I received yesterday (early)! My nine year old had secretly been working with some of my closest friends to plan a surprise party fo rme at Storiebook Cafe! When Kelly and I returned from a trip to the museum in Ft. Worth there was a shop full of friends waiting to help celebrate me growing OLDER! It was a great party and I got some fantastic new bling bling and pink outfits to wear... man, do my friends know me or what?!?! Well, just wanted to say a great big thanks to Dawsyn and everyone that made my day so special (and actually got one on me!!! I truly had no clue!!!!) I will add the pictures as soon as I get them!!!
