He goes by the name the "Skinny Cowboy". He says he isn't too thin, just because when he would get mad at his mom and was gonna "step on a crack to break her back," he fell in - doesn't mean he's too skinny!
Rowdy, as is his 'given' name, says that his country/western/folk 'Road Show' is a "laid back, backyard event" that includes ballads, love songs, and hilarious hits of his own, and is "as bad as anything you hear on the radio!"
In addition to covering hits by Willie, Waylon, and Johnny Cash,  the Skinny Cowboy has 40 original tunes that he is ready to share with the Storiebook Characters in the crowd, including:
"Baby Left Me For My Brother,"
"Cowboy Sad Song,"
"Tears on my Shoulder,"
"Honey Can You Butter My Biscuits,"
"I Didn't Promise Pretty Roses,
"Ima Gonna Get Me Some JUST IN BOOTS,"
and his newest - written just last night after a phone conversation with Storie -
"I'm Ready For a Storiebook Ending, I'm Just Worryin' About the Beginning!"
The Skinny Cowboy is in the process of completing his first CD, which will be heard on Texas music radio and internet stations soon, and is in the final stages of signing off on a contract with Justin Boots, for his song, ","Ima Gonna Get Me Some JUST IN BOOTS," to be used in promotional ads.
Make plans to 'Close the Book on Ordinary' this Saturday night at Storiebook Cafe, and don't miss what is sure to be another 'Novel Experience!'
