"The BackRoad Drifters know how to put on a show!"
Phil Hamilton and the BackRoad Drifters are a Texas country band out of Fort Worth. They have an incredible ability to work a crowd from the first song till the lights come on and its time to go home.  With a passion for Texas country music and a love to see a crowd pack a dance floor and cut loose to some of the best country music, these guys come ready to entertain. With unmistakable originals that everyone loves to hear and will never forget, The BackRoad Drifters have something for everyone.
Lead vocalist on rhythm guitar is Phil Hamilton from Burleson, Texas, who has been playing and singing his whole life.
The Drifters started with Hamilton and two friends from his church who just played to have a good time. That all changed when they performed at Hamilton's wedding just for fun, and someone obviously liked what they heard.
The next thing they knew they went from drifting down the back roads, to cruising in the fast lane of the Texas country music scene.
Hamilton knows how to work a stage. It wasn’t long before he and the Backroad Drifters found themselves being booked in places all over North Texas, and have become what some have said to be one of the best sounding Texas country bands around.
When the group heard about a local radio station’s contest to find a great new Texas country band, they jumped on it.
“We submitted a YouTube video to 95.9 The Ranch and we were picked to make the Top 10,” Hamilton said in an article from his hometown paper, The Burleson Star. Phil and the Drifters were then chosen by fan's votes to compete in the final top three battle of the bands on stage at the 95.9 The Ranch "Rock the Fourth" celebration at LaGrave Field in Fort Worth.
Lead guitarist  Fernando Torrez grabbed the crowds attention from the start with a rocking rendition the National Anthem! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsAr4HEdDA0&feature=player_embedded.

Torrez, a Fort Worth native, grew up playing music his whole life. He also plays harmonica for the group and has an unmistakable drive for performing.

Andy Emery, from Keller Texas, plays the drums and brings fourteen years of experience to the group. With a powerful sound and a unique style that no one can touch, Emery is undoubtedly among the best drummers in Fort Worth.

Brian “Keys” Worley is from Keller Texas, and brings sixteen years of piano and organ experience. With a great range from progressive rock, country, bluegrass to the blues, Keys can play it all.

Collin Maloney, a singer/song writer raised in Keller Texas, plays bass and brings a new level of energy to the band. All together the guys have incredible chemistry and love for music that can keep the party going all night.

Phil Hamilton and the BackRoad Drifters' are quickly filling their playlists, with shows at small music venues around the area, as well as larger concerts, like the Rednecks and Red Dirt 2009 event in Kansas in October.
