but honestly, I sometimes forget that this is the only contact that I have with some of you! So, I'm here... and will try to be more often. If you haven't been in lately, we always have something new going on, be it a new homemade dessert, a new book to read, a new musician coming to play, or even just a new "storie" to share! lol! We are so blessed to still be rockin' along after a year, and only want each year to get bigger and better! If you subscribe to the newsletter (which I also don't keep up as well as I should, but at least I can send out a quick "holla" every now and then, then you know we have had some great entertainment in here lately! AND it is only getting better! Thanks to the graciousness of many of the bands that have played here already, several other new, great sounds are wanting to play here - and will be soon! We have Phil Hamilton and the Backroad Drifters rocking the Red Dirt scene, Kelly Knight singing the Blues, Stay Home Lucy introducing us to some of the best "alternative Bluesgrass" you've not heard yet, Josh Mills still just making everyone smile! and next month we are being joined by Mike Calaway, who blew us away last Saturday with some of his originals that we can't wait to share with everyone... and so much more!
In addition to the great music planned, we have increase our menu, and our parties are becoming quite the talk of the town... lol - esp. if you are expecting, engaged or are a PRINCESS!!!! Patty's cakes are realllly mmm-mmmm marvelous, and we have had so much fun celebrating the upcoming arrivals of new babies and brieds-to-be! We are also now ready for the boys! With an antique fire truck and real John Deere Tractors for parties... and so many pages more!!! Stop by and visit today, or if you are coming to town, give us a call and we will have your treat ready and waiting! Hope to see you soon - and maybe, if I can get over the whole "blog" hang-up that i have had, I will start adding more here.... just want it to keep it positive and enlightening - not bog you down with blah! So, until next time... keep reading!
